How SentinelQR Works

Once you have received your SentinelQR Checkpoints you’re ready to go.

Step 1

Start the Checkpoint

When a guard arrives at a checkpoint location, they use the SentinelQR app to scan a QR code. If the guard doesn’t have the app, they can use any QR scanner to scan the code. This action triggers the start of a new checkpoint task, and the guard can proceed to complete their tasks.

Step 2

Complete the Checkpoint Tasks

After the guard has scanned the checkpoint, a checkpoint-specific task form is automatically loaded onto SentinelQR. The guard is then required to complete the tasks required step by step for the particular checkpoint without skipping any task. This ensures that all required tasks are completed before the checkpoint can be considered finished.

Step 3

Take Photo Evidence

Once all the required tasks are completed, the guard is then required to take photos of the task or tasks they have completed using SentinelQR. These photos are then attached to the checkpoint task list to provide visual evidence of the guard’s attendance

Step 4

Sign & Complete Checkpoint

Step 4 of SentinelQR involves the guard signing and completing the checkpoint, with SentinelQR automatically adding accurate date, time and geolocation data. This data is then sent to the building manager and other designated email addresses, ensuring efficient and transparent communication of the checkpoint status.

Step 5

Receive Realtime PDF Report

After completing the previous four steps, the SentinelQR system sends the completed checkpoint task list, along with all the relevant data including photos and geolocation, directly to the building management and other required contacts.
